John Cephas

The late John Cephas toured worldwide with his partner Phil Wiggins.  He was an elder statesman of the Piedmont Blues, and was adored by his fans everywhere he traveled.  John was a National Heritage Fellowship award recipient in 1989.

John Jackson

A National Heritage Fellowship award recipient, the late John Jackson toured the world for many years, and played for Presidents.  He's shown here in 2000, jamming with Howard "Louie Bluie" Armstrong.

Robert Lowery

The late Robert Lowery was a true Delta Bluesman, born in Arkansas, and coming to live for many years in Santa Cruz, CA.  He played at presidential inaugurations, and toured the world.
